The idea for this painting (12insx16ins oil on panel) occurred about three years ago (June 2021)when my son & daughter-in-law & grandson took us out on a day boat at Wroxham and we came across this beautiful sailing barge on the Broads. Its the classic view of these majestic boats of the Norfolk Broads. Ardea is Latin for Heron if you were wondering....
