i had been meaning to do this painting (Oil on panel 12insx16ins) for the last 18 months having seen the sea horse at Wells a number of times whilst on holiday. Wanted to capture thesea horse, the beacon, and the historic lifeboat. There was a sea mist at the time, so I limited the details of the new lifeboat station and tree line in the background to an outline.
