This painting evolved from a sketch I did of the countryside near Acle, east of Norwich. Beautiful day if a little hot for painting but it struck me that I needed to capture this quintessential view of the countryside at Harvest-time. Hopefully next time I'll get some machinery into the painting. Love the colours at this time of year.
