This painting was the result of an initial sketch I did prior to Christmas 2023 at the Lamb PH in Norwich city centre. I then re-visited the pub in January 2024 with the Norwich Outdoor Painting Group and did a watercolour sketch. So this final oil painting (wood panel 10insx14ins) has evolved through a process which tends to be typical of how I create most of my paintings. Its a combination of plein air/studio work.
